4 Tips to Prevent Your Hair from Breaking OffI have worn my hair natural since 2010. I have tried a lot of techniques on my hair, but now I have found a few that work consistently. I want to share these tips with you for having healthy hair. These tips work on natural and relaxed hair. I have been able to retain the length of my hair throughout the years. because of these techniques. With a good hair care strategy, you can also have healthier hair that does not break off as much. So, let's get started.
1. Wear Satin on your hair at bedtime Wear a satin bonnet, scarf, or use a satin pillowcase while sleeping. This will help protect your hair from breaking off during tossing and turning while sleeping at night. Make sure the satin scarf or bonnet is not too tight. If it is too tight, it will cause your edges to thin out and you will lose hair. 2. Spray your hair with water This will add moisture to your hair. To add even more moisture, add a few drops of a liquid leave in conditioner or your favorite essential oil. Argan oil protects your hair from extreme temperatures and gives your hair lots of sheen. Here is a recipe for a moisture spray that will leave your hair feeling silky. Fill a small water bottle 3/4 of the way full, then add 10 drops of Argan oil and 4 drops of tea tree oil (antibacterial ingredient). The tea tree oil will keep the mixture fresh. Shake the bottle to mix the ingredients, then spray the mixture on your hair before going to bed. Do not saturate the hair with the mixture, but spray enough to have the hair become slightly damp. After using the mixture, put a satin bonnet on your hair to let the mixture penetrate into your hair overnight. The moisture you add to your hair will help keep your hair from drying out and breaking off. 3. Avoid hair products that can cause breakage to your hair Scuncis and rubber bands fit the hair too tight, which can lead to breakage. Instead of rubber bands, use hair pins to secure your hair. Also, avoid brushes that have the plastic balls on the end of the bristles. These brushes can pull the hair out of your head. use a boar bristle brush instead. The softer the brush, the better it can be for the hair. A soft boar bristle brush is good for styling your hair without pulling it out. 4. Detangle your hair with your fingers. When you detangle your hair with your fingers, you are not using a plastic comb. Detangling hair with your fingers helps you check the health of your hair. If your hair is too dry or you have split ends when you finger detangle, you can add moisture to your hair with your favorite hair products. This will help avoid breakage to your hair by making it more pliable. If you feel split or dead ends when you finger detangle, you can then determine if you need to trim the ends of your hair so that your hair will be healthier. These are some tips that I learned to have healthier hair. With consistently in using these 4 tips, your hair will become stronger and easier to manage. Take your time and try these tips, one at a time. I think you will have good results. 10 Things You Can Do This Week to Have Healthier Hair1. Sleep with a satin bonnet.
